This is Verna in Mexico. She was in Mexico and Guatamala about 1988 with her parents and the Jenkins Families. They visited a lot of archialogical sites. This is probably Vera Cruz, Mexico. Bobbie (Mom) carried a camera, but the only pictures she took were of Verna because she said she knew Verna would take all the other pictures. Chuck, Charles George Mogged while serving as an Iowa State Senator.

Chuck with his younger brother Robert with their 4H Club calves. Robert's calf was a Shorthorn and was more typical of the larger conformation later considered more desirable.

This is the earliest picture we can find so far of Chuck, as a young boy in Gillman, Illinois with his Angus calf as a 4 H project, taken about 1945. He showed the calf at the International Livestock Exposition in Chicago, Illinois. It gave Chuck tremendous experience in livestock care, handling, and competition in the show ring. The calf won no prizes but was sold for a premium price after the exposition which was held in the Union Stockyards.
Introducing Verna J Buckner Greene Reed Mogged. First child of Jesse and Barbara Wood Buckner. I was the learning kid, seven more children would arrive over the next 20 years.
We are Charles and Verna Mogged. We just got married on August 2, 2008. We will be adding stories about our wedding and courtship. It is pretty wild for two people to be getting married at our ages, Chuck is 76 and Verna is 67.
